One of the most recent developments in IVF clinical practises is the Embryo Witnessing System (EWS), which uses radio frequency identification (RFID) technology and/or distinctive barcoded labels to track all crucial work completed at all stages of the IVF process cycle. RFID-based EWS tracks and records patient data as well as biological sample information during the entire IVF procedure using RFID tags. At each stage of the IVF process, the patients and biological samples are identified using unique barcode labels and a barcode scanner. Every step of the IVF cycle is protected by these technologies, which help to reduce the possibility of human error whenever gametes are transferred from one dish or tube to another.
