Laser Labiaplasty

Laser Labiaplasty?

The labia of the vagina are treated using plastic surgery known as laser labiaplasty (also known as laser reduction labiaplasty of the labia minora). Labiaplasty often refers to procedures done on the vaginal Labia Minora. This treatment is used to alter the labia’s size or shape, usually to reduce their size or to remedy an imbalance between them. a surgical procedure in which the “lips” of the vagina are cut and dissected with a laser before the skin’s borders are re-approximated with absorbable suture material.

“Women who want to make their vagina look younger and minimise the size and appearance of the Labia Minora that protrude beyond the broad outer lips of the vagina (Labia Majora) opt to undergo this operation.

An outpatient procedure is used for this one. Depending on the patient’s and doctor’s preferences, the patient receives either local or general anaesthesia. After that, a painkiller with a half-life of 18 to 24 hours is also administered, this time as a nerve blocker. Unless other surgeries like vaginoplasty (vaginal tightening) and labiaplasty are coupled, the surgery lasts around an hour on average. A precise medical laser is used to remove the excess skin after surgical marking of the Labia Minora. The skin is stitched shut using sutures of the highest grade. (Inner lips of the vagina or the Labia Minora edges). The prepuce is then removed using a surgical method at the patient’s request.
